Today was the first time I had a "B" day at BTWHSPVA. For 10th period, I have a class called "New Works". I didn't know what to expect going in there, but I came out happy, and satisfied.
There is a mix of freshman through seniors and every cluster is present. We meet in room 071, or the lunchroom. The large room, and it's immense collection of windows, provides an excellent space for al 100 kids to fully complete the class goal; To create new works of creativity, no matter what your background, major, focus, or interest. Everyone is doing everything. I'm really excited to say the least. I still can't remember the names of all the five teachers, but that's going to change soon. I do remember that Ms. Javiland and Mrs. James are there, and ever present.
Along the way, they asked who had a video camera. I raised my hand. Then they asked, who has video editing software. I kept my hand in the air. Finally, they asked who had a computer to edit that video on. My hand didn't move.
They told us, that the ones who had their hand up, were going to be the "Directors, and team leaders". I was pretty happy.
